Back to Basics with Tony Minieri

This four day class will blow your mind! I learned so much when I took it at another shop.
This four day class will strengthen your technique and help rid you of the the bad habits you’ve developed over the years. A basic knowledge of stitches is a prerequisite.
Canvas Empowerment with Jo Christensen
June 22nd-23rd
This two day embellishment class is one of a kind! Bring an unstitched canvas of your choice and Jo will guide you through how to select stitches and threads. The class begins with art and color theory. Then Jo will tell you what kind of stitch and thread she would like you to select for an area. You’ll learn how to use stitch books and select stitches. The second day will be spent on technique.
Have a Cup of Tea with Beatrice and Me (and Jo Christensen)
Spend the weekend with Jo and Beatrice working on this darling piece by Brenda Stofft. This is the cutest bunny ever! The canvas measures 7 x 10 on 18 mesh. Learn padding and sculpting techniques to make Beatrice look realistic. The cup is apppliqued. So many amazing aspects of this adorable piece. Class fee $250. Kit fee is additional and TBD. Advance registration required. Kits available.
Canvas Embellishment with Tony Minieri
September 22nd-24th
Tony will write a custom typed stitch guide with diagrams for the canvas of your choice and will walk you through the amazing techniques and process behind his creating the stitch guide. This three day class is slower paced so that everyone can have personal time with Tony. You will leave with a full understanding of your stitch guide. Class fee $300. Canvas must be purchased or dropped off at the store by May 1st. Threads and stitch guide are an additional charge and vary based upon your kit.
Julia Snyder Embellishment Class
December 1st, 2nd or 3rd
Come for one or more days while Julia selects the stitches and threads for the canvas of your choice! Julia is amazing with ribbons, beads and other embellishments. Her unique style is sure to wow you!
