I know everyone is stuck home and missing the shop desperately.  I miss you all too!  It’s quite lonely here all by myself. But, I’ve got a great solution to our isolation issues.  Let’s have a virtual class over Zoom!

If you haven’t Zoomed with anyone yet, it’s SO much fun!  I Zoomed with some of the girls from the shop this week and with my mom and my sister last night.  Virtual cocktail hour is a blast!  It’s super easy.  You can do it on your phone, iPad or computer.  All you have to do is download the FREE app or make sure you are using Google Chrome as your browser to access it from your computer.  Make sure you allow it to access your microphone and camera.  I’ll email you the invitation to join the class meeting and we’ll all be on the same screen together.  I can see clearly what your working on and you can see my demonstrations clearly.

So, I have 8 kits ready to go for this darling little piece.

I was planning on teaching this at the shop, but I guess the world had other plans.  If you want to participate in the FREE class, since you all would be the guinea pigs, call the shop to order your kit today or tomorrow so I can send them out to you for the virtual class next Friday, April 3rd at 3.  Class will be about an hour or so once we get everyone situated.

We all better get cracking on our Christmas projects because the finishing deadline will be here before we know it!

You all loved this sale last year when I cleaned out my office at home.  Here it is again!  I’ve been cleaning out my house since I’m stuck there so much like everyone else.  All of these pieces I started and know I will never finish.  I hate to see unfinished pieces and I hope these go to a new home that will finish them.

We have a new club to tempt you!  The Beautiful Ladies Club from Vallerie Needlepoint Gallery.

There are four canvases in total.  Each one is 4 x 4 on 18 mesh.  The club starts in April 2020.  That means we’ll be shipping as soon as we get the threads in.  Gotta keep everyone stitching while we’re stuck at home! The best part of joining one of our clubs is that the stitch guide is FREE for club members

You’ll learn how to create these amazing hair styles that you can apply to any canvas.  I think of myself now as an amateur hair stylist but with thread and tiny scissors.

 The Spring Needlepoint Show has been cancelled or hopefully postponed. It was such a great show last year, especially being a brand new show. I was looking forward to exhibiting and buying there again this year, but this is what is the safest option.

This is such a bummer since I’ve been working for the last six months on new designs and new stitched pieces. But don’t worry, you’ll see all the new designs when the time is right.

As for The Enriched Stitch, we are still currently open for business, cleaning the shop religiously, and our sale continues both in store and online.

I won’t be planning a big anniversary bash on the 17th, social distancing and all. But we’ll celebrate when this passes.

I’ve been teasing everyone on Facebook about a new club.  Here it is!

It was so much fun designing, painting and then stitching these pieces.  I can’t wait to get them back from the finisher.

Kim at the shop stitched the “Designer Packages” and the “Mackenzie Packages.”

How stinkin’ cute is the bow she tied onto the beaded tea pot?!

Kim is going to finish these as flat coasters so she can slide them into the 5 x 5 acrylic box.

I stitched the “Tiffany Packages” and the “Lily Packages.”

This piece was so hard to photograph.  All the crystals just don’t show up right.  This piece has got some serious bling going on!  This one is going to be a standup.  I can’t wait to see how my favorite finisher decorates the topper on the piece.

Wait till you see the Lily Packages when they come back from the finisher.  I bought Lily fabric online for the back of the pillow.  There’s green fabric on the front of the pillow that matches the background perfectly. (Thank you, Linda)  And then to top it off, I found hot pink pom pom trim.  It’s going to be adorable!
