As promised, here are the stocking toppers we received in the trunk show.  Next to come . . .the full size stockings!

I love stocking toppers because it is so much less stitching!  You stitch the top part and the stocking is made of fabric.  Genius!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a thing for nativities.  I must have 8 different nativity sets in my stash.  I have actually finished one set and am 3/4 of the way through a second set. I just love them!

We’re so excited to be hosting the Rebecca Wood trunk show in the shop.  It is actually here and you can come in and see it.  Not a virtual show.  So we actually have the inventory!

We’re getting back to normal here at The Enriched Stitch . . .as normal as can be right now.  I’m not sure who’s more excited to be back in the shop.  . .our customers or us!

One thing I keep hearing from everyone is that they can’t wait until we can have classes again.  I don’t think that’s happening any time soon here in Connecticut.  We’ll have to wait to see what our governor says.

So, in the meantime, I’ve got a great class planned for Zoom.

This 4 x 8 design on 13 mesh is so much fun to stitch.  I can’t take credit for the picture above.  Don Lynch of Associated Talents stitched that one.  Mine is almost done.  I just have to finish some beading (my favorite NOT!) and then I’ll be done.

The kits are ready to go. Finally! It’s taking forever to get everything in these days.  So, now I can set a class date.  We’ll meet on June 24th at 1 pm EST. This will give plenty of time to get your kits to you since the mail has been so slow lately.

The kit includes the canvas, threads and beads and a free stitch guide by Don Lynch.  The class fee is $25 which is not included in the kit fee. There’s really cool beading and embellishment techniques in the piece and a variety of stitches.  I can wait to be done so I can send it off to the finisher to make into a really fun pillow.

Starting June 3rd we will be open to walk in traffic by appointment only!

Please email enrichedstitch@gmail.com to make your 1/2 hour appointment.

 

We ask that you make your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

 

We are ready for you to come back safely in the shop.  We have plenty of hand sanitizer that we ask you to use when you come inside.  Please remove gloves if you are wearing them and then sanitize your hands.

 

We will be cleaning between each customer.

 

We have installed a plexiglass shield in front of the register.

 

And most importantly, MASKS ARE A MUST!

If you do not have a mask, we have them for you to purchase.  Scarves and other facial coverings will not be allowed.

It’s a gorgeous Spring day here at The Enriched Stitch!  I’m looking forward to cocktails later tonight on our boat.  First time this season!

Speaking of cocktails . . .Mary Susan and Linda stitched this little Maggie piece together to add to their “bar needlepoint” collection.  It’s only a 5 x 5 piece but look what they did with it!

The tail feathers are AMAZING! Love the crystal to dot the I.  And I’m in love with the stitch they used for the breast.
