Do you all know who Mary Susan is?  She is the head of the finishing department at The Enriched Stitch.  No, she doesn’t always wear silly hats.  We were trying on the cool Halloween headbands that Becki bought us for our Halloween party this coming weekend.

Take a look at the latest piece that she stitched and designed the finishing for.

She stitched this piece by Kate Dickerson for her husband for their 25th wedding anniversary this past summer.  I LOVE the roping.  

I’ll be honest . . .I never saw anything she picked out before she sent it to the finisher.  When I unpacked the box I couldn’t believe how stunning it was.

I just finished stitching our newest online class.  Ho Ho Ho by Alice Peterson.

Sign ups started a few weeks ago, but we have more canvases on order.  The class will start in Decemeber.

Here’s how it works.  There will be three installments of this class, starting in December 2015. Each installment is $25 plus the threads.  The second installment will be in January 2016 and the third in February.  The canvas is $148.

In each installment, you will receive the stitch guide and thread kit.  I’ll tally up the thread kit later today.  I was just too excited to share the piece.   You will also get a choice of the background color that is used.  I did my background in candy cane pink. I know, crazy?  Aggie’s idea.  But it came out really cute.  If that’s not for you, not to worry, you can also choose white or navy.

I will have instructional videos on this piece posted on a password protected site that only those in the class can view.

One of the best parts about going to market is all of the wonderful classes that are offered.  Aggie took the Joy Bell class, a Raymond Crawford Design, stitch guide by Diana Bosworth.

How cute is this little piece?  Aggie chose not to stitch the silver area.  We’re going to send a silver bell to the finisher and have it hang down so it’s a real bell.  It’s gonna be adorable.

We will be offering this class on Saturday December 5th 10-12.  Class fee is $150.  Kits will be available, as well.  Call the shop to sign up or for more information.

I just fell in love with these sassy little ladies at the Dallas show last month and knew that I had to stitch them.

Each canvas is $125 and includes the stitch guide with the purchase of the threads.  A $150 deposit is required to sign up and will be applied towards the canvases as they ship.  The thread kits are still to be determined, but will probably range from $45-$65 per canvas.

The club starts in January 2016 and will ship monthly.  You must sign up by November 1st to be included in the first shipment.  The painting service gets very busy this time of year and I wouldn’t want you to have to wait.

I just put the Easter lady on bars today, so I’ll post her as soon as she’s done.

I love fall.  It’s my favorite time of year.  The time where we start nesting in our homes again after a busy summer.  Which for needlepointers means more time to stitch!
